Find and join a match

Update WARDOGS in Steam before joining. Refresh the server browser and compare official and community listings. If a selected server fills before you join, return to the list and refresh before trying another available match.

The official 0.1.2 notes describe a connecting state after Join followed by the server queue position. Record which screen you reached: a join queue is different from the login waves used during launch.

When servers are missing or joining fails

First record whether the whole list is empty, one server is missing, or a visible server fails to accept you. Check the official announcement feed for a notice matching the current date and region. A historical outage notice is not a live status indicator.

If the list loads but one server is full or unavailable, compare another listing. If no listings load, collect the client build, region, exact error and time before contacting support. For an authentication error, use the login and error-code guides rather than treating every failure as a server-browser bug.

Season 02 (Update 0.2.0) server context

The official 15 October 2026 announcement confirms that Season 02 Update 0.2.0 was released and servers returned online after that maintenance. This is a dated release confirmation, not a live service-status check. Install the current Steam client update before troubleshooting missing listings or join failures.

Record whether a listing is absent, a server is full, or an explicit error appears after Join. Compare current announcements with the time and region of the failure, and keep that evidence when contacting support. Avoid assuming that a historical faction incentive or maintenance notice explains a present connection problem.

Historical Patch 0.11 context

The September 14 update began improving community-server discoverability. Its five-percent community-server cash bonus was announced for one week; it is historical context, not a current reward promise.
